40% my foot ?

So did anyone of you manage to get 40% discount on petrol yesterday between 4 to 8 pm ? Was telling my wife the day before that this is going to be one big belated April Fool's joke played out to the whole of Singapore. Ha ! and I was right on the money man ! But actually I did go and pump petrol yesterday , not because I was looking for the 40% discount but because my tank was empty ! Nonetheless the queue was so long but I managed to somehow get next to an empty pump stand which dunno why nobody wants . HaHAHa !!! So funny when one by one the customers standing in line to pay for the petrol would ask " is it really 40% discount ? " I told one of them to deam on !!!

National Day Celebration

I celebrated our National Day by sleeping till 11.30 this morning, then washed up and went out to tar-pau lunch for me and the family. Then off we went to Changi Expo book fair - what a waste of time ! So many books, here, there, everywhere, all in one big mess ! Luckily next door was John Little's sale but could not be borthered to queue for 1/2 hour just to pay for 2 boxes of cheap underwear. So what to do ? Balek Kampong lah ! What an uneventful day spent on our 40th birthday !

National Day and I gotta work ! Lousy job but got bills to pay, pocket money for kiddos, meals for tummies, school fees, tuition fees , this fees that fees, and all the pong pee pees !!! What to do? No money no talk! Nevermind , tahan a bit , go for the long haul , never say die, got job be thankful already ! But of course life can be a little betterer yah ?

_ucking lousy start to my day at work today and it's because of that Cheow Kia Hmm Park Lastic fellow of an ASSHOLE spot trader of mine in my office! Already known to be a failure in his other life , you see , he was bloody fired from his previous employ and now doesn't give a shit about being humble enough to work your way up again. Failure to communicate was what I told him the last he screwed up and tried to put the _ucking blame on me , yah right ! Not anymore this time BUSTER ! You bloody hell learn how to communicate - it's call T_A_L_K_I_N_G !!! Nabeh !!!

Make time for that cuppa

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours
in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of
coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in
front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large
and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then
asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the
jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas
between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was
full. They agreed that it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the
jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous "yes."

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and
poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty
space between the sand. The students laughed. "Now," said the professor
as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar
represents your life.

The golf balls are the important things --God,your family, your children,
your health, your friends and your favorite passions--and if everything
else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house
and your car.

The sand is everything else--the small stuff."

"If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no
room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you
spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have
room for the things that are important to you. "Pay attention to the
things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children.
Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner..
There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.
Take care of the golf balls first--the things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee
represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to
show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always
room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."

I Can't Belive It !!!

I can't believe the arrogance of this son-of-a-bi... business partner of mine. I actually came to the meeting with the intention of f...king him off from this partnership and recover everything back from it . But no , that did not happen ! You see , the softer and forgiving side of me ( fortunate or unfortunately for him !!! ) got the better of me. However I want to think that the MAN upstairs had a part to do with this. I can't believe what I did - I actually let him continue but with much terms and conditions laid out - that means one more wrong move and he is F..ked !!! And at the end of the meeting he did not even had the gratefulness to say a big thank you or even a hand-shake or at least a f..king smile !!! F..k man what of person is this ??!! Such show of ungratefulness after what I did for him - I can't believe it !!!

Ungrateful Business Partner

This Saturday is D-DAY! I am going to tell my business partner to get the f... and f... off from our business which we managed for just over a year. You see, we are in the chauffeured limousine business and for the whole year he was supposed to repay his part of the deposit for the two vehicles , well at least for his own bloody vehicle, and 1 whole year has passed and after netting off the bills that he collected but unilaterally decided that he did not want to pay back into the company , still thinks that I have given him the sole authority to run the show himself , like he owns the company totally ! Well good luck to him , he is going to get a wake up call this Saturday for sure ! Get up and F... off buster !
