40% my foot ?

So did anyone of you manage to get 40% discount on petrol yesterday between 4 to 8 pm ? Was telling my wife the day before that this is going to be one big belated April Fool's joke played out to the whole of Singapore. Ha ! and I was right on the money man ! But actually I did go and pump petrol yesterday , not because I was looking for the 40% discount but because my tank was empty ! Nonetheless the queue was so long but I managed to somehow get next to an empty pump stand which dunno why nobody wants . HaHAHa !!! So funny when one by one the customers standing in line to pay for the petrol would ask " is it really 40% discount ? " I told one of them to deam on !!!

National Day Celebration

I celebrated our National Day by sleeping till 11.30 this morning, then washed up and went out to tar-pau lunch for me and the family. Then off we went to Changi Expo book fair - what a waste of time ! So many books, here, there, everywhere, all in one big mess ! Luckily next door was John Little's sale but could not be borthered to queue for 1/2 hour just to pay for 2 boxes of cheap underwear. So what to do ? Balek Kampong lah ! What an uneventful day spent on our 40th birthday !

National Day and I gotta work ! Lousy job but got bills to pay, pocket money for kiddos, meals for tummies, school fees, tuition fees , this fees that fees, and all the pong pee pees !!! What to do? No money no talk! Nevermind , tahan a bit , go for the long haul , never say die, got job be thankful already ! But of course life can be a little betterer yah ?
